Rhona Natasha Mitra is an English actress, model, and singer. She was born on August 9, 1976, in Paddington, Hampstead, London, England. Her journey to become a global celebrity started way back in her modeling years when she became a model for the Tomb Raider video game character Lara Croft. Her television debut was a role in Ghostbusters of East Finchley in 1995. After making a few appearances on a few TV Series and a movie debut in the 1998 movie Croupier starring Clive Owen, she got her first supporting role in Beowulf with Christopher Lambert. By gaining experience in screen projects, she got her leading role in the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans alongside Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy. Besides Underworld, she is famous for numerous TV Show and Movie appearances like Doomsday, Party of Five, The life of David Gale, and Boston Legal. Rhona Mitra had a chance to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in Boston Legal and a Scream Award for the best actress for the movie Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
