Franz Wagner Bio
Franz Jacob Wagner is a German professional basketball player who plays as a small forward in the NBA. He was born in Berlin, Germany, on August 27, 2001. Franz spent his developmental years playing for Alba Berlin and Lokomotive Bernau. He turned professional in 2021 when he was selected by Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA Draft. Throughout his career in Orlando, Franz played alongside Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, Moritz Wagner, and Jonathan Isaac. His career highlights include BBL Best German Young Player, Big Ten All-Freshman Team, Second-team All-Big Ten, and Third-team All-Big Ten – Media. Franz has played for the German national basketball set up from the U-16 level.
