Susan Elizabeth Holmes-McKagan is an American model, television personality, and fashion designer who was born on May 5, 1972. Susan Holmes Swimwear is her commercial line, and she is the public face of the company.
Susan Holmes Swimwear was established in 1997 by Susan Holmes. Kate Hudson, Venus Williams, Heidi Klum, Stella McCartney, Elle Macpherson, and Daryl Hannah have all sported Susan's designs.
Her swimsuit fashioned entirely of guitar picks was featured on the calendar and DVD cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. After deducting expenses, Holmes donates approximately 15% of net proceeds to charity. In 2008, Holmes was named "The Swimwear Designer of the Year" by supermodel Niki Taylor at The Michael Awards in New York City.
