Made Kuti Bio
Made Kuti is a singer and songwriter born on 26th September 1995 in Nigeria. He is the son of the legendary musician, Femi Kuti. He learned how to play the alto, trumpet, drums, piano, and alto at a young age. He went on to play with his father’s band, Positive Force at the age of 8. In October 2020, he released his debut single “Free Your Mind”. His debut studio album “For(e)wards” was released solo as well as part of the double record “Legacy”.
The album, which was released via Partisan Records, featured Femi Kuti’s 10 tracks and Made Kuti’s 8 tracks. Pulse Nigeria reviewer gave the album a rating of 7.7//10. Made’s music combines reggae, highlife, jazz, and rock. He launched a band called The Movement during the An Evening with Made Kuti at Terra Kulture Arena.
