Jeon Jong-seo is a South Korean actress who was born on July 5, 1994, in Seoul. She graduated from Seoul Arts High School. Later, she enrolled in Sejong University and got her major in film. In 2017, Jong-seo auditioned, for the first time on her professional career as an actress, for Lee Chang-dong’s mystery film “Beoning” and got cast to play Shin Hae-mi, the lead role, which made her win a NETPAC Award for Best New Performer, and also earned her 11 nominations. Jong-seo played her next role in 2020’s crime film in Netflix’s “Kol”, where she played the role of Young-sook; this part earned her an award as Best Actress for Baek Sang Film in 2021, and also got her a nomination on the same category for a Buil Film Award.
