Andrew Scott Bio
Andrew Scott is an award-winning Irish actor and film producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, on October 21, 1976. Andrew began his screen acting career in the mid-1990s when he was cast in the films Korea, Drinking Crude, and The Budgie. He became famous when he portrayed the character Jim Moriarty in the BBC crime-drama series Sherlock. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series Fleabag, Big Hero 6: The Series, School of Roars, His Dark Materials, and Ripley. His filmography includes 1917, Victor Frankenstein, and Denial, but he is best known for starring in the 007 film Spectre alongside Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, and Léa Seydoux. Andrew won a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actor, a British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actor, and an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actor in a Lead Role – Drama.
