Mat Baynton Bio
Mathew Baynton is an English actor, comedian, and writer who was born on November 18, 1980, in Essex. He graduated from the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. He is mostly known for his role in the TV series “Horrible Histories”, in which he appeared from 2003 until 2013 and played numerous characters. He is also known for playing various roles in TV series “Yonderland” between 2013 and 2016, and for playing Thomas Thorne in TV series “Ghosts” from 2019 until 2021. In 2013, he co-created, co-wrote, and co-starred with James Corden in Hulu’s original “The Wrong Mans”, where he played the role of Sam until 2014. “The Wrong Mans” earned him 5 nominations and 2 wins for different awards. He also played Deano in “Gavin & Stacey” and Simon in “Peep Show”, and Chris Pitt-Goddard in “Spy”.
