Carol Alt Bio
Carol Alt is an American model, born on December 1, 1960, in Queen, New York. She is one of the most successful supermodels of all time and has modeled alongside Cindy Crawford and Kathy Ireland. She was first introduced to modeling when she was spotted waiting tables and started to model as a summer job. After entering the modeling industry she was featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, and after has appeared in more than 700 magazines including Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Mademoiselle, and Cosmopolitan.
Carol has appeared in Playboy giving her the accolade of Most Beautiful Woman in the World and was also referred to as The Face by Life Magazine. Aside from fashion magazines, she was also a frequent face on the catwalk, modeling for designers like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. At the end of the 1980s, she made the move from modeling to acting and has appeared in over 45 European films. She starred as Karen Oldham on the TV show, Amazon in 1999. In 2012 she starred in Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love, and in 2020 in the movie My Last Best Friend alongside Brian Byus.
