Ronald Acuña Jr. Bio

Ronald José Acuña Blanco Jr., known as Ronald Acuña Jr. and El De La Sabana, is a Venezuelan professional baseball player who plays as an outfielder and designated hitter in Major League Baseball. He was born in La Guaira, Venezuela, on December 18, 1997.

Ronald signed with the Atlanta Braves in 2014, but before his Major League debut, he played for the Gulf Coast Braves, Danville Braves, Melbourne Aces, and Rome Braves. He played his first Major League game for the Atlanta Braves in 2018, and he has continued to be a mainstay in the team ever since. Throughout his time with the Braves, Ronald has played alongside Dansby Swanson, Spencer Strider, Matt Olson, Austin Riley, and Vaughn Grissom.

His career highlights include NL Rookie of the Year, Silver Slugger Award, All-MLB Second Team, 30–30 Club, and three All-Star games.
