Mali Music Bio
Born Kortney Jamaal Pollard on January 12, 1988, Mali Music was just eleven years old when he discovered his musical talent. The singer, who was raised in Savannah, Georgia, decided one day to sit at the keyboard of his church and play. He was so good that he made this a weekly habit, delighting all of the church goers immensely. In 2006, the singer and producer started Mali Music Note Productions, and has been steadily at work writing and producing for other artists.
Mali Music released The Coming in 2008 and then The 2econd Coming in 2009 independently, both of which earned him attention as a soulful singer and granted him the ability to tour with some of the biggest names in Contemporary Gospel Music. After being signed to a division of RCA Records in 2013, Mali Music was able to perform at the BET Music Awards and made an appearance at Essence Music Festival. In June 2014, Mali Music released an album produced under a major label, RCA Records, entitled Mali Is… to much critical acclaim.
