Gurdas Maan Bio
Gurdas Maan is a singer and songwriter born on 4th January 1957 in Gidderbaha, India. He is widely recognized for appearing in Hindi and Punjabi films and music. Maan gained fame in 1980 with the track “Dil Da Mamla Hai”. He has since recorded more than 34 albums. After that, he released “Chhalla” and “Mamla Gadbad Hai”. Maan has also appeared in a wide range of Bollywood films and has won several awards.
He also appeared on Coke Studio MTV Season 4 and sang, with Diljit Dosanjh, the song Ki Banu Duniya Da. The song earned more than 32 million views on YouTube. In 2009, he received the UK Asian Music Awards in the category of Best International Album. In 2017, he earned the Filmfare Award in the category of Living Legend. Apart from Punjabi, Maan is also fluent in other languages like Tamil, Rajasthani, Hindi, and Bengali.
