Ted Leo is a rock singer born on 11th September 1970 in Indiana, United States, but grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey. He was a founding member of the Citizen Arrest band from New York. He has played for several groups, including the Sin-Eaters, Puzzlehead, and Chisel. He formed Ted Leo and the Pharmacists in 1999 and recorded six albums with the band from 1999 to 2010. Ted Leo and Aimee Mann formed an indie-rock musical duo known as “The Both.”
The duo composed songs and traveled together before performing the first show as a duo in March 2013. Leo released his first solo album, titled “The Hanged Man,” in September 2017. In 2019, Leo worked with Stemage and Rebecca Sugar to write the track “Independent Together,” which was used in the TV film “Steven Universe: The Movie.”
