JPEGMAFIA, also known as Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, is an American rapper born in 1989 in New York. He began producing music while enlisted in the military. In 2015 he moved to Baltimore and released two albums titled “Communist Slow Jams” and “Darkskin Manson”, in cassette format for the label Granola Records. Hendricks followed up in 2016 with a full-length album titled “Black Ben Carson” as an independent release. Later that same year he issued “The 2nd Amendment” in collaboration with Freaky, for the Deathbomb Arc label. Hendricks then moved to Los Angeles, where he released the LP “Veteran” two years later, and put him in the spotlight. He toured the world to sold-out venues and collaborated with artists like Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats. In 2019 the artist released the full-length album “All My Heroes Are Cornballs”, and got inside the Billboard’s 200 count.
