Samantha Ronson is a British singer, songwriter and DJ. She was born Samantha Judith Ronson on the 7th of August, 1977, in Camden, London, England. Ronson moved as a child to New York City, where she spent her youth. She began performing as a DJ in her 20s and she soon carved a name for herself in the industry. She released her debut album “Red” through Roc-A-Fella Records in 2004, which was a huge success. In 2011, she released her second album “Chasing the Reds” alongside The Undertakers. During that same year, she was named the official DJ for Hennessy. Among her most popular singles “Fool”, “Built This Way” and “Good News” alongside Ocean Park Standoff stand out as major dancefloors hits.
