Leaving his well-known musical trio MZ in 2017, French rapper Jok’air made the decision to pursue a solo career and has seen great success. 29-year-old Jok’air, also known as Big Daddy Jok, has an incredible 1 million listeners on Spotify and was nominated for Best New International Act by BET Awards. With the support of one of France’s most famous YouTubers, Seb La Frite, the french rapper has also released a film entitled La Fièvre as an extension of his album.
Jok’air collaborated with an astounding 32 other artists to produce a mixtape, wanting to celebrate this form of music and show the youths that it is still alive. Featuring artists like Jazzy Bazz and Kpoint, the rapper says this project greatly enriched and inspired him.
