Anne Hampton Potts (who’s popularly known as Annie Potts) is an American actress and television personality who was born on October 28th 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. She was born and raised in the United States and studied Theater at Stephens College, Missouri.
Annie is famous for her starring roles in popular 1980s movies like Ghostbusters (1984), and Pretty in Pink (1986). She is also known for her appearances on Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Any Day Now and Young Sheldon. She lent her voice to Bo Peep in Toy Story and Toy Story 2. She received an Emmy for her role in the TV series Love & War where she played Dana Palladino.
