Choi Woo-Shik is a South Korean actor who was born on 26 March 1990, in Seoul. When he was young, his family moved to Canada, and he studied in British Columbia for ten years. In 2011, he decided to return to Korea and started an acting career. That same year he did his first films were the K-drama “The Duo” and the short film “Etude Solo”, but his debut movie was 2 years later when he interpreted “Yoon Yoo-Joon” on “Secretly, Greatly”. In 2014 he interpreted the main character “Young-Jae” from the film “Set Me Free”, which won him awards as the best new actor on 2015 nominations in several awards ceremonies. In 2016 blockbuster released the movie Train to Busan, in which Choi played the role of “Yong-Guk” and he gained international popularity. Thanks to his role in the successful movie Parasite in 2019, he has been nominated and won some other Best actor Awards.
