Astro Bio
Astro is a South Korean boy band with six singers. The Astro members were born between the years 1994-2000. The names of these young stars are: JinJin, Moonbin, Rocky, Cha Eunwoo, MJ and Sanha. Astro debuted on February 23rd, 2016.
The band began under the name i-teen boys, and in 2015 changed their name to Astro. Before their fame, Astro had two mini web shows To be continued and reality show Ok! Ready.
Debut album, Spring up in 2016, was what sparked Astro’s career. Astro had a music video with one of their tracks, Hide&Seek. Later that year Astro released their second mini album, Summer Vibes. Astro has held their own solo concerts in South Korea and Japan in 2017. Junkook and Jim in are Korea’s most famous singers.
Astro has won three awards, Dahsyatnya Award for Outstanding Guest Star and Seoul Music Awards K-Wave Popular Award in 2017. In 2020, Astro won the Golden Disk Award Best Performance Award.
