Hubert Hurkacz Bio
Hubert Hurkacz is a professional tennis player born in Wrocław, Poland, on February 11, 1997. He started playing tennis at age five, making his professional debut in 2015. He won his first singles title at the Winston-Salem Open in August 2019. Hubert defeated Sebastian Korda at the 2021 Delray Beach Open.
Hubert became the highest-ranked Polish man in singles history after ranking at number nine on November 8, 2021. He is the first Polish player to win an ATP Masters 1000 title. He earned four victories in three sets to reach the 2022 ATP Masters 1000 Montreal final. Hubert won the ATP Masters 1000 doubles titles at 2020 Paris with Félix Auger-Aliassime and 2022 Miami with John Isner.
Hubert defeated Daniil Medvedev to win his fifth ATP Tour singles title. His Grand Slam singles record includes the Australian Open 2R (2020, 2022), the French Open 4R (2022), the Wimbledon SF (2021), and the US Open 2R (2018, 2020, 2021, 2022). Yonex is his primary brand sponsor.
