Belanova Bio
Belanova is a Mexican rock band that was formed in 2000 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The founding members of the band were vocalist/songwriter Denisse Guerrero, programmer/keyboardist Edgar Huerta, and Ricardo Arreola (bassist).
Belanova rose to fame in Mexico following the release of the sophomore album Dulce Beat in 2005. The album spawned the hit single Por Ti which logged a record-setting 29 weeks on MTV Mexico’s Top 20 chart. Their debut album Cocktail was released in 2003 and it also uncovered the hit single Tus Ojos. The ensemble appeared in Sara Valenzuela’s 2002 single Esta vez and also on Fase’s 2002 single Tania.
