The Last Resort Bio
The Last Resort, better known as The Resorts, is a band from Herne Bay, England formed in 1980. The members of the band are Graham Saxby, Roi Pearce on the bass, Charlie Duggan on the guitar, Andy Benfield on drums, and Roi Pearce on the bass. The name of their band was taken from a punk and skinhead culture store that was located in London. The proprietor of the shop, Mickey French, has taken on the role of manager for the collective. The first studio album, titled Skinhead Anthems, was released in 1982. Later, Roi Pearce took over the vocals, and Arthur Kitchener became the bass player. Moreover, the band was featured on three different Oi! Samplers, including Strength Thru Oi!, Carry on Oi!, and Oi! Oi! That's Yer Lot!, with the latter group being referred to as "The Warriors."
