Format:B Bio
Format:B is a German house techno duo composed of Franziskus Sell and Jakob Hildenbrand. They met in Berlin, and they started playing music around 2005, and soon they started releasing tracks on Highgrade Recording label. They got noticed by other labels and so they worked with Stil Vor Talent, as well as Opossum Recordings, before returning to their first label in order to release their first album “Steam Circuit” in 2008. During the following years, the dynamic duo played in clubs all over the world, before they chose to settle in and create their own vanity label Formatik Records, in which they released their tracks, including the hit “Dog Tag”. In 2014 they reached new levels of fame by releasing their cheerful single “Chunky” which was highly popular in clubs that year. The single was eventually re-released by Ministry of Sound. They have collaborated with prominent artists such as Roy Rosenfeld and Chris Kroeze.
