Jason Lancaster Bio
Jason Lancaster is a Tallahassee-born singer/songwriter who originally gained popularity as the lead singer for the group Mayday Parade, and later as the piano player in the group Go Radio. After experiencing quite a successful career in his first band, he moved on to Go Radio, but shortly after their appearance at Warped Tour and the release of their 2012 album Close the Distance, he announced he would be quitting the band. Jason Lancaster thus decided to pursue a solo career, and released his debut solo album titled As You Are in 2014. The album was lauded for being more faithful to Jason Lancaster’s personality, as it features music that is more relaxed in comparison to the energetic pop music he had been known for with his previous bands.
