Go Radio Bio

Go Radio is an American rock alternative and pop rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. The band was formed in 2007 when singer-songwriter Jason Lancaster left rock band Mayday Parade. Lancaster, along with Matt ‘Burns’ Poulos, Steven Kopacz and Patrick Hosey, the trio started Go Radio, releasing their debut EP ‘Welcome to Life’ in 2008. In 2010, the band signed to Fearless Records, with new guitarist Alex Reed, releasing their debut album, ‘Do Overs and Second Chances’. Their sophomore album, ‘Close the Distance’, arrived in 2013 which Fearless Records describes that the band “established their ability to craft a catchy hook and create memorable connections with the crowd”. Unfortunately, in 2013, Go Radio announced the band’s breakup due to Lancaster wanting to shift focus on his wife and family. A year after their breakup, Lancaster released a solo album, ‘As You Are’, Kopacz toured with band Anarbor as a tour drummer and Reed joined another band, Stages & Stereos. In 2019, Go Radio announced that they have reunited and are working on new music. The band released their first single since their breakup in the same year titled ‘Say It Again’.
