Musa Keys Bio
Musa Appreciate Makamu, widely known as Musa Keys, is a musical artist, songwriter, DJ, and record producer born in Giyani, South Africa, on July 29. He developed an interest in music at age 13 while playing piano at the church. He honed his musical skills under Lazarus Thobejane. His music blends amapiano with several harmonies and syncopated synths.
Musa produces his songs and releases them through his record label, Keys Records. In 2019, he released the single Hey Wena. The following year, Musa released Samarian Boy. The song charted on MTV Base and South African Charts for three months. He included it in his debut EP, Widlysm, released in 2020.
His song, Vula Mlomo, featuring Sir Trill and Nobantu Vilakazi, has double platinum. Musa released his debut album, TAYO, in 2021. The album included songs like Selema (Po Po), Thando Lwami, and Ku Shushu. He has collaborated with Optimist Music ZA, Costa Titch, Lebza TheVillain, and Sino Msolo.
