Wild Cub is an American indie pop group formed in 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee by songwriter/composer Keegan DeWitt, multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Bullock, drummer Dabney Morris, bassist Harry West, and synth/keys player Eric Wilson. Their debut came in 2012 with self-recorded Youth, which fared well in the U.S. as well as in the U.K. A U.S. tour ensued, and in 2013 a single titled “Thunder Clatter” featured in a worldwide advertisement campaign, which impacted the U.K. charts. This prompted the re-issue of their first LP with label Mom & Pop Music. From then on, Wild Cub members pursued other projects right up until 2017, when a sophomore album hit the shelves under the name Closer. This album was promoted with the single “Somewhere”.
