Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. is a Grammy award nominated singer-songwriter born on March 30 1990, in Georgia, United States. Chasing his childhood dream, he dropped out of college to pursue music when he was only 20 years old. In 2010, Rhett signed a publishing deal with Big Machine Label Group to professionally write songs. His songwriting career saw an instant success pushing him into the spotlight. In 2012, he released his debut single Something to Do with My Hands and soon after his debut album It Goes Like This in 2013. His other notable albums include Tangled Up (2015), Life Changes (2017), and Center Point Road (2019). Thomas Rhett has proven his mettle time and time again, with 18 songs gracing the Billboard 100 chart along with a single and album that both went platinum.
