Tryo Bio

Tryo is a French acoustic reggae band formed in the suburbs of Paris in 1995. It originally consisted of Manu Eveno, Cyril “Guizmo” Celestin, and Christophe Mali. The band started writing music for guitar and voices and toured Europe’s festivals before recruiting percussionist Daniel Bravo in 1998. With Bravo on board, they released their debut LP “Mamagubida” later that year. In 2000, the band followed up with “Faut Qu'lls S'Activent” and toured France in collaboration with the circus collective “Les Arrosés.” The live performances were recorded and went out as a DVD later in 2002. Their third effort “Grain de Sable” came out in 2003, and not long after it was followed by the live album “De Bouches a Oreilles.”  In 2008 the band managed to return with “Ce Que l'On Sème,” featuring a popular video clip of the single “Toi et Moi.” After releasing two more live albums, the band hit the studio one more time for their fifth pressing “Ladilafé” (2012).
