Michael Stevens is an American educator and public speaker, born on January 23, 1986, in Kansas City, Missouri. He is best known for creating and hosting the popular education YouTube channel Vsauce. Michael graduated from the University of Chicago in both psychology and English literature. He created Vsauce in 2010 as a channel focused on video game comedy content, and it went on to become a network of science and education channels, followed by millions of people.
In 2014, Michael received a Streamy Award for Best Science and Education Channel, and in 2021, he received a Streamy Award for Best Scripted Series for his series titled Could You Survive The Movies? He has been a speaker at TEDx and a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube.
