Jean Reno is a French actor born in Casablanca, Morocco on July 30, 1948. He is best known for his roles in the films Crimson Rivers, Godzilla, The Da Vinci Code, Mission: Impossible, The Pink Panther, Ronin, Les visiteurs, The Big Blue, Hector and the Search for Happiness, and Léon: The Professional. Reno has worked in French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese films. At 17 years old, he moved to France and studied acting in the Cours Simon School of Drama. In 1978 he made his debut in film in the movie The Hypothesis of the Stolen Painting and continued landing roles in the films and television shows Womanlight, Subway, Le Grand Bleu, Nikita, Porco Rosso, La Vis, Les Visiteurs, The Lion King, French Kiss, Flight from Justice, Ronin, Crimson Rivers, Godzilla, Just Visiting, Le Jaguar, Rollerball, Hotel Rwanda, Flyboys, Flushed Away, Ca$h, The Pink Panther, The Pink Panther 2, The Round Up, Armored, The Chef, Jo, The Last Face, The Promise, The Girl in the Fog and many more. Reno has also had roles in the stage productions Ecce Homo, Je romps et ne plie pas, Montserrat, Nos femmes, Les Grandes Occasions, La Manufacture and others.
