Peter Bjorn and John Bio

Peter Bjorn and John is the name of a Swedish psychedelic rock group, formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1999, consisting of Peter Morén on vocals and guitar, Björn Yttling on bass and keyboards, and John Eriksson on drums. Peter and Björn were previously a duo, before moving to Stockholm, where they met John and started playing together. In 2002, they released their debut self-titled album produced by Björn Yttling. The trio released their second album “Falling Out” in 2005, before becoming worldwide known in 2006, when they released their single “Young Folks”, in which they collaborated with Victoria Bergsman, lead singer of The Concretes. This song was a great success and it remained on the Billboard’s Top 40 Singles for weeks. It was named by the New Musical Express magazine as the second best single of 2006. The trio has also collaborated with artists such as Shout Out Louds and Taken by Trees.
