Nicole Power Bio
Nicole Power is a Canadian actress best known for her appearance in Kim's Convenience as Shannon Ross. Power was born in the Newfoundland and Labrador town of Middle Cove. She is a member of Soulpepper Theatre Academy and a graduate of Sheridan College's Musical Theatre department as well as Second City's conservatory.
Power has appeared in Canadian theatrical productions of West Side Story, Bonnie and Clyde, Legally Blonde, La Cage aux Folles, Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, Evangeline, and Anne of Green Gables: The Musical at the Charlottetown Festival.
She has received two Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal as Shannon in Kim's Convenience, at the 6th Canadian Screen Awards in 2018 and the 8th Canadian Screen Awards in 2020.
