Prateek Kuhad is an Indian singer and songwriter, who has been dubbed one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters by Rolling Stone India. He was born on the 3rd of March of 1990, in Jaipur, India. His songs have reached millions of people on Spotify, and Kuhad has captured both Indian and American audiences, performing at festivals like South by Southwest. Kuhad released two EPs, one in English and one in Hindi and his single “In Tokens and Charms” was a hit, and won Kuhad an MTV Europe Music Award. It also received an award for Indie Album of the Year from iTunes, and the Best Pop Artist at the Radio City Freedom Awards. The track, “Oh Love,” got to the first place in the International Songwriting Competition. This led Kuhad to begin working with artists like Alt-J and Mike Posner.
