Sevda Alizadeh, better known by her stage name Sevdaliza, is an Iranian-Dutch singer, songwriter, producer, and visual director who performs alternative R&B and experimental pop. She was born in Tehran, Iran, on September 1, 1987. Sevdaliza began her music career in 2014, and she released her debut studio project, the EP The Suspended Kid. Sevdaliza became known internationally for her airy vocals, striking visuals, and experimental audio soundscaping. Her discography includes the hit singles Human, Oh My God, Marilyn Monroe, Amandine Insensible, That Other Girl, Darkest Hour, and the albums Ison, The Calling, and Shabrang. Sevdaliza was featured on SebastiAn’s album Thirst alongside fellow artists Syd, Sunni Colon, Gallant, Lola Delon, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
