Kandee Johnson, born Kandee Shayn Johnson, was born on July 9, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, is a make-up artist and YouTube beauty vlogger. As a make-up artist, she first scored a job with Dead Man’s Run as an assistant make-up artist. In 2010, she became a costumer, make-up artist, and hairstylist for the short The Sierra. In January 2009, she started uploading videos of herself doing make-up tutorials, reviewing products, and vlogging. Currently, she has 3.9 million subscribers on the platform and her the entirety of her videos have been viewed a total of 451,923,834 times. Aside from YouTube, she is also known for her work on Skin Wars: Naked Truth (2014), an online companion show for the show Skin Wars; and Glam Masters (2018), a reality competition show where she was a judge. In 2016, she voiced Mandy Sparkledust in the movie Trolls.
