Marek Ariel Schulman, better known as Ariel Schulman, is an American filmmaker, director, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in New York City, New York, United States, on October 2, 1981. Ariel has had an extensive career in both film and TV, working as a writer, producer, or director on the films Paranormal Activity 4, Nerve, Catfish, White Girl, Go Get Some Rosemary, and the TV series Catfish: The TV Show. He is best known for directing the horror film Paranormal Activity 3 which featured Chloe Csengery, Jessica Tyler Brown, Christopher Nicholas Smith, and Lauren Bittner.
