Arlene Phillips Bio
Dame Arlene Phillips, better known as Arlene Phillips, is an English choreographer, TV personality, and director best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Prestwich, Lancashire, England, on May 22, 1943. Arlene moved to London to develop as a director and choreographer, and she began working in film and TV in the mid-1970s. She has since made a name for herself in numerous fields including theatre, film, music festivals, music videos, award ceremonies, and the Olympics. Arlene has choreographed sequences in numerous films including Annie, Legend, and The Fan, but she is best known for her work in the musical biopic Rocketman which featured Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
