Stella Donnelly is a Welsh-Australian indie pop folk musician, singer and songwriter. She was born on the 10th of April, 1992, in Western Australia. Her interest in music started in high school and she formed a band which performed Green Day covers. She studied jazz music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She released her first EP “Thrush Metal” in 2017 under the record label Healthy Tapes. In 2019, she released her debut album “Beware of the Dogs” via Secretly Canadian. The album was a total success, receiving a lot of positive critics. That same year, Donnelly made it to number 6 in Happy Mag’s list of the “The 15 Australian female artists changing the game right now”. She won the AIR Awards of 2020 for her debut album as Best Independent Pop Album and Independent Album of the Year.
