Elizabeth Marvel is an actress born on 27th November 1969 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is widely recognized for playing Det. Nancy Parras police procedural television series “The District”. She started her career by making theatrical appearances in “The Seagull” in 1992. She went on to appear in the Broadway plays “Saint Joan” in 1993, “An American Daughter” in 1997, “Lydia Breeze” in 2000, “Top Girls” in 2008, and others.
Marvel made her television debut in 1998, playing the role of Amy Marshall in an episode of the police drama series “Homicide: Life on the Street”. That same year, she portrayed Diana in an episode of the television miniseries “A Will of Their Own”. Her film debut came in 2000, when she played Caroline Shepherd in the film “The Hundred Kings”. In 2008, she appeared in three films: “The Guitar”, “Pretty Bird”, “Synecdoche, New York”, and “Burn after Reading”.
