Amy Hargreaves (born January 27, 1970 in Rockville Center, Long Island, New York, USA) is an American actress, most renowned for her contributions in film, television and theater.
She is popular for her recurring role as Maggie Mathison on Homeland. Her first televised role came in a 1992 episode of Lifestories: Families in Crisis, but she didn't earn her first recurring role until playing Chloe Drescher on Matt Waters in 1996. In 1994, Amy starred in Brainscan alongside Edward Furlong. In 2012, she made an appearance as Dr. Karen Folson on the CBS show Blue Bloods in the episode “Leap of Faith” from the second season. In 2017, she portrayed the role of Lainie Jensen, mother of protagonist Clay Jensen, in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
She starred alongside Devin Ratray in Blue Ruin. She has also acted in other movies including The Preppie Connection, Michael Clayton, and Shame.
