Maya Jama Bio
Maya Indea Jama is a TV Presenter, broadcaster, model, and actress from England, born in Bristol on August 14, 1994, being Swedish from her mom's side, and Somali from her father's side. In 2010 she moved to London pursuing her dream to become a broadcaster. That year, being only 16 years old, she found an opportunity as a presenter for JumpOff.TV, and she created her own YouTube channel. Through the years, she made her way to MTV as the presenter of The Wrap Up, MTB Base Show, and finally, she hosted MTV News, and MTV Essentials. She also hosted shows like “The Circle”, a Channel 4’s production, or “Swipe Right for Sex”, a Channel 5 star documentary. She gained more popularity when she fronted the Copa90’s production called “Maya’s FIFA World Cup Cities”, a travel-show that covered the FIFA’s World Cup 2014, in Brasil.
