Osi Umenyiora Bio
Ositadimma Umenyiora, popularly known as Osi Umenyiora, is a former NFL player born on November 16, 1981, in London, England. Osi played college football for Troy University and got inducted into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame. He was drafted in 2003 by the New York Giants in the second round, pick 46 of the NFL Draft.
His accolades include Super Bowl champion (XLII, XLVI), SLC champion (1999, 2000), All-SLC (2000), First-team All-Pro (2005), Pro Bowl (2005, 2007), Second-team All-Pro (2010), NFL forced fumbles leader (2010), and New York Giants Ring of Honor. In 2010, he had the most forced fumbles in a season, tied with Charles Tillman and Robert Mathis.
Osi holds the Giants franchise record for most sacks in one game. He teamed up with former professional basketball player Ejike Ugboaja to create a football program called The Uprise. He co-hosts The Jason & Osi Podcast with Jason Bell, an official NFL podcast by Shooting Shark Productions. He has been featured on CNN and Sports Illustrated.
