Blanck Mass Bio
Blanck Mass is a British electronic music project led by Benjamin John Power from Worcester, England. Power was half of the electronic music duo Fuck Buttons for seven years, before releasing his debut solo album as Blanck Mass. The eponymous album was released in 2011 through Rock Action Records and it got positive reviews from critics. In 2015, he released his second album “Dumb Flesh” through Sacred Bones Records and he spend the second half of the year touring. Two years later, he released his third album “World Eater”. The sound of the album was described as noise mixed with post-rock and electronic music. He released his fourth solo album in 2019, called “Animated Violence Mid” which gained several accolades, entering the Top 50 Albums of 2019 in magazines like DJ Mag, Under the Radar and MusicOMH.
