Melendi Bio
Ramón Melendi Espina, best known as Melendi, is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and musician who performs flamenco, rumba, and pop music. He was born in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, on January 21, 1979. Melendi spent his formative years preparing for life as a racing driver and soccer player, but he instead opted for the life of a musician. In 2001, he began his music career after joining the band El bosque de Sherwood, and he went solo in 2003 with the release of his debut studio project Sin Noticias de Holanda. His discography includes the hit singles Destino o casualidad, Tu Jardin con enanitos, La promesa, Desde Que Estamos Juntos, and the studio projects Volvamos a empezar, Un alumno mas, and Likes y Cicatrices. Melendi collaborated with numerous artists on the single Himo A La Alegria alongside Pablo Lopez, Alejandro Sanz, Aitana, Alessia Cara, and Alex Ubago.
