L7 Bio
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, L7 is an American band that performs punk rock and alternative metal. The all-female band was formed in 1985 by musicians Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner. The make-up of the band has evolved over the years, but the band is currently made up of Suzi Gardner on guitar and vocals, Donita Sparks on guitars and vocal, Jennifer Finch on bass guitar and vocals, and Demetra Plakas on drums and vocals. They released their eponymous album L7 in 1988 to much critical and commercial success. Their discography includes the hit singles Pretend We’re Dead, Shitlist, Fast and Frightening, and Wargasm. L7 was featured in the album Grunge! alongside fellow musical artists Stone Temple Pilots, Jerry Cantrell, Juliana Hatfield, and Neurotic Outsiders.
