The Aces Bio
The Aces are an American all-female girl band from Provo, Utah. They were formed in 2008 by singer and guitarist Cristal Ramirez, guitarist Katie Henderson, bass player McKenna Petty, and drummer Alisa Ramirez. Longtime friends, the group was already very familiar when they began working together. They originally called themselves the Blue Aces when performing, and were often holding gigs at school assembies, teen parties, and other such events. They slowly made their way into clubs as they started gaining traction. In 2012, they released their first EP. They then were accoladed as one of the best local bands by a local online magazine. From there, they shortened their name and began working with Red Bull Music, alongside whom they later released “Stuck”, which got millions of views on Spotify. Later, they released their first album, “When My Heart Felt Volcanic”.
