Thalia is the stage name of the Mexican singer, songwriter, producer, and actress Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda Mottola, born on August 26, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico. Thalia is considered to be one of the most successful Mexican artists on an international level. She has started her music career in 1981 and has been often referred to as the Queen of Latin Pop, having sold over 25 million records worldwide. Thalia has received seventeen nominations and five Billboard Latin Music Awards, seven nominations for Latin Grammy Award, and a special Latin Grammy “President’s Merit Award” in 2019, among many others. Throughout her career, Thalia has collaborated with many famous artists such as Robbie Williams, Maluma, Lali, Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini, and many more.
