Michiel Huisman is an actor and singer who was born on July 18th, 1981 in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. He is best known for his work on television. He debuted in a 1995 episode of Voor hete vuren titled "Prettige feestdagen". The lead singer of the band Fontaine also appeared as Daario Naharis in the 2014 film adaptation of Game of Thrones. He is best known for his role as Sonny in the HBO series Treme. Alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw, he had a starring role in the drama Irreplaceable You, which was released in 2017. In the film Wild, which was released in 2014, he also played the role of Jonathan. Additionally, he played the role of Ellis in the film World War Z, which was released in 2013, and starred Brad Pitt.
