Aimee Mann is a singer and songwriter born on 8th September 1960 in Richmond, Virginia, United States. She started her career in the 1980s, and after working with the music bands, Ministry and Young Snakes, she started her own band with her then boyfriend. The band was called Til Tuesday. She was the vocalist and bassist, while her boyfriend was a drummer. They released their first album, titled “Voices Carry,” in 1985. Their second album, “Welcome Home,” was released the following year.
The band was, however, released, and Aimee started her solo career. She released her first solo album titled “Whatever” in 1993, followed by the second album “I’m With Stupid” in 1995. In 1999, she composed the soundtrack that was used in the movie “Magnolia”. In 2000, she released a new album, titled “Bachelor 2”. She went on to release three albums, titled “Lion in Space”, “One More Drifter in the Show”, and “The Forgotten Arm”.
