Ryan Hurd is an American country music singer and songwriter born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 2, 1986. Hurd has written number one singles for the country music singers Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. His debut single was “Love in a Bar.” The single charted at number 50 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. In 2016 he was featured on Rolling Stone Country “Artists You Need to Know” list and was named one of CMT’s “Listen Up” Artists. He was signed to the label Sony Nashville in 2017 and released his debut EP self-titled Ryan Hurd EP. The single from the EP, “We Do Us” was streamed over 2 million times on Spotify. He has toured with the artists Morris, Thomas Rhett, and Chase Rice.
